It is important to ensure that if you want a separate Zoom account for non-York University activities, please use another email such as Gmail, Outlook, etc. If you have, or if you are in the process of signing up for a Zoom account, and you use any of your York University emails (if you have multiple) to do so, then you will be confronted with this issue in the future. Your York University account already exists through our licensing arrangement and you only need to login correctly to gain access to it. Upon trying to login via the SSO option, as outlined in our Signing in to Zoom section, York University's Zoom account will need to reconcile that email to its own account. You may have previously registered for a Zoom account and when you did, you used one of your York University email addresses (if you have more than one). You will be presented with the error Yo ur email domain has been claimed.
